Chu's Dental Care is a family run independent NHS dental practice with the aim to provide dental care to Dunfermline and the surrounding areas. The practice has been established for over 30 years within the centre of Dunfermline town.

All patients are registered under the NHS, entitling them to a free check-up every six months and the full range of treatment available on the NHS.

In addition, treatment such as aesthetic crowns and bridges, tooth whitening and white fillings on back teeth are available privately.

We refer to both NHS and private specialists for advice and treatments such as orthodontic treatment, oral surgery and implants when required.

Coronovirus update April 2022

Further government restrictions on dental treatment and coronovirus have been lifted allowing us to slightly increase the number of patients we can see where there are no respiratory symptoms.

All patients will be screened for respiratory symptoms by the questionnaire below, as this will affect the enhanced PPE, social distancing and cleaning protocols used for a treatment appointment. If you answer yes to any of the questions, you could still be seen depending on the urgency of the issue – please contact the surgery.

We have been working hard to catch up on all routine checkups for those who have not been seen since the pandemic began, and there are still delays on getting treatment appointments.

Register

We are current taking on new NHS patients. To register, simply give us a ring on 01383727771 to make a new patient examination. On arrival you will be asked to complete an NHS form, and fill in a medical history form. If you are on any benefits such a tax or pension credits which give you an exemption from NHS fees please bring evidence of this to your initial appointment.
